Guillén that offer multiple visions of Andalucía as a sonic frontier between the East and the West. “Solaz” is inspired by sufi text, its millenary presence in Almería, the southern area of Spain which has always been the place where the European and African continent touched and melted, both spiritually and musically. This album was originally released on the Gruppo Ungido label, and explores the relation between music and sufism from diverse perspectives. “Solaz” was reissued as a limited edition cassette release on Zona Watusa.
