About one year ago, Dutch experimental duo Meglamancha released their debut album “Soil”, receiving great reviews all across the board. Now, they’re back. Meglamancha’s Megara is darkly evocative, almost Gothic in terms of atmospheric pressure. But instead of empty cathedrals, their sound conjures up visions of enormous, long-dead machines and otherwordly mechanics. Rust rather than dust. Their sound evolves slowly, building up, while different, overlapping fields of noise phase in and out. Heavy and captivating, it draws you in, and keeps you close.
