Barcelona is often referred to as a city that has peaked a long time ago. Those of us who live in this city are surrounded by people who don’t stop complaining as they claim that everything has already been said about Barcelona. Zona Watusa disagrees, and we are fed up with this harmful negativism. If the big festivals -hand in hand with their fellow free-market forces- are devouring everything in their paths, then Barcelona’s underground has to morph into a 'zona confusa'.
A space where anything goes and impossible mixtures become realities. This compilation is a portion of all that is simmering in those spaces of Barcelona that have had to become invisible to survive. Barcelona is not over. It's merely confused.

Barcelona es esa ciudad que parece que hace tiempo te has acabado, pero en realidad, ni mucho menos. Los que vivimos en esta ciudad estamos rodeados de gente que no para de quejarse porque aseguran que en Barcelona ya está todo dicho. En Zona Watusa no estamos de acuerdo y además nos hemos hartado de este nocivo negativismo. Si los grandes festivales, mano a mano con las otras fuerzas del mercado libre, están devorando todo lo que encuentran a su paso, entonces al underground de Barcelona no le queda otra que convertirse en una zona confusa. Una dimensión donde todo vale y las mezclas imposibles se convierten en realidades. Este recopilatorio es una porción de todo eso que se cuece a fuego lento en esos espacios de Barcelona que para sobrevivir han tenido que hacerse invisibles. Y es que Barcelona no se ha acabado. Sólo está confusa.

Extra Patience (After Sebald) contient des pistes additionnelles et, en ce sens, il ne diffère pas dans les grandes lignes de l'album parent : The Caretaker reprend encore une fois Winterreise et son atmosphère glaciale dans un ensemble de boucles très brèves. En revanche, une dichotomie se met en place entre des morceaux joués à l'envers et un chant plus présent qui, lui, progresse. La neige se calme mais le cheminement, du fait du poids des souvenirs, est tout aussi ardu. Un très bel ajout.
